A Gem in Riogordo the pride of Axarquia

Aspectos positivos: The 2 hosts Menno & Harmke were wonderful from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Their approach to us being both coelliac's with regard their amazing breakfasts was first class. Having stayed many times in Riogordo this was by far the best. Beautifully kept gardens and swimming pool and views to die for. If you like walking then the village is 15 minutes away. The coffee , tea facilites (free) all day were great. Honesty bar for drinks is great. We were unlucky with the weather in April but still manged a quick dive in the pool! Superb hosts, with superb food, superb facilities and an amazing ambience. A must stay...

Overheerlijk luxe verblijf.

Aspectos positivos: Het ontbijt was fantastisch. Elke dag vers en regelmatig iets nieuws. Overheerlijk en groot zwembad met mooi uitzicht. IJskast steeds voldoende gevuld waar je tegen een eerlijke prijs steeds iets kon nemen om iets te drinken.

Aspectos negativos: Eigenlijk geen negatieve commentaar

Toplocatie en verblijf met top gastvrouw en gastheer.

Aspectos positivos: Via vrienden kreeg ik een foto doorgestuurd van de Haciënda en omgeving, het zicht vanuit het zwembad op de bergen en de omgeving deed mij dadelijk overstag gaan. Neem daarbij de spontane gastvrijheid van Harmke en Menno de prachtige accommodatie met alle comfort, de rustige ligging en je krijgt een supercombinatie. De eerste avond aten we samen wat leuk is als kennismaking. Het ontbijt is perfect en meer dan af. Overdag koffie naar wens. We huurden E mountainbikes en Menno stippelde voor ons parcours uit. Toen mijn vrouw een lichte val deed en naar het ziekenhuis moest bood Harmke ons spontaan aan om mee naar het ziekenhuis te gaan. Ja we voelden ons hier echt thuis. De nabijheid van een klein stadje en niet te ver af de kust en enkele bekende steden is ook een pluspunt. Beste reclame is dat we volgend jaar zinnens zijn om terug te komen.

Aspectos negativos: Eigenlijk niets. Misschien een luxeopmerking: gezien we graag rode wijn drinken bij het eten vonden de instapwijn van Rioja \
